This talks directly to real device state — confirm/ mark_spent/delete etc. actually mutate stored notes, and export_secret discloses a plaintext secret (it still requires pressing the confirm button on the device itself within 30s — see the note on that command below). See docs/PROTOCOL.md for the full protocol and README.md for known flakiness on the serial link — a command occasionally getting no response is a documented, real hardware issue, not a bug in this page.
